Huntley’s New Song Is a Testament to His Faith
It’s been a little over a year since Huntley walked away from The Voice with the $100,000 grand prize and contract with Republic Records. Since then, he has walked away from that record deal, releasing two songs under a new independent label. The gravelly-voiced Virginia blues-rocker has promised “some things that no Voice winner or contestants have ever done before” in the coming year. And recently, he further demonstrated his commitment to furthering his career with a preview of a brand-new song.
Since winning season 24 of The Voice, Huntley has released the songs “Tell Me When It’s Over” and “Skyline Drive.” In a recent post to Instagram, the 34-year-old father of two gave fans a glimpse of what’s next.
“This past year the best thing that has happened to me is my growing bond with the Lord,” he wrote. “Just felt like somebody needed to hear this today. Love you all and God bless.”
